My 2021 PC Build

I’ve been running a system that’s starting to show it’s age, but has been doing incredibly well considering (see My 2016 PC Build). Time for something new! I managed to secure an Asus ROG Strix 3070 (see separate post about beating the scalpers) so I could then follow up with adding all the other components. I used User Benchmark to compare price vs performance then PC Part Picker to check compatibility. I also relied on some reputable YouTube channels for reviews/unboxing etc.

Here are the specs*:

CPU: Intel Core i7-10700K (3.8Ghz 8 Core 16 Thread)

GPU: Asus ROG Strix 3070

RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (2x16GB DDR4 3600 C18)

MB: Gigabyte Aorus Elite Z490 AC

PSU: Corsair RM850 (850W Modular PSU)

Case: Antec DF700 FLUX (ATX Mid Tower w/ARGB)

Cooling: Corsair iCUE H115i RGB Pro XT (280mm AIO)

System Review

Once the build is up and running I’ll add some review type comments on the process of building and function of the system. Check back in a couple of weeks!
